Prior to COVID lockdown, in 2020, art sister, Susan Ray, had gathered Susan Lenart Kazmer, Cat Kerr, myself, and a few of jewelry creatives to be part of a Fashion Week inspired book. Unfortunately, the timing did not allow for things to continue as originally planned. Some time has passed, and I thought I would share one of my two projects, since the book was never published. I tend to like earthy and mismatched things in fashion, so decided to pull out my box of misfit pieces to begin an assemblage. I established a base piece, used wires, screws, filigree, and felt to fiddle together something that spoke to me, like a jigsaw puzzle, until I was happy with my creative project.
